The Space

This spacious apartment features hardwood floors throughout most spaces. In the living room you find a comfy sofa, side chair, 2 work desks and a media cabinet with a smart-TV (connect to your own Netflix, Hulu, etc). The large window making this a bright and cheery space all day long. We include small touches like a coat and shoe rack to make your stay a bit more enjoyable. Just off the living room is a sleeping alcove (with French doors for privacy), a twin bed, a dresser and closet space.

The bedroom houses a Queen Bed with down comforter, nightstands, and a comfy chair with a side table. A plush rug completes the room. The perfect combination of stylish and comfortable!

The eat-in kitchen has a built in banquette and comes fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots & pans, plates & cups. Pretty much everything you would need besides groceries!

The bathroom was recently updated with a new vanity, and flooring. There is a built-in bathtub with shower.

Amenities

This fully furnished home includes bath towels and bedding. An initial supply of consumable items like soap, shampoo, and toilet paper will be provided. The guest should plan on refilling these items as needed. We include Sonic high speed internet connection that provides fast download speeds. Working from home and streaming movies is a breeze! There is a shared laundry facility in the building. The machines accept electronic payments with your smartphone. Water, Trash, Gas, Electricity and High Speed Internet are included.

Parking

One compact off street parking space is included. Street parking is also available with a permit from the City of Berkeley. Bike shares are located 2 blocks away and we're within walking distance to campus and downtown Berkeley.

Neighborhood

The Northside neighborhood is coveted for being close to UC Berkeley, but beautifully set in the North Berkeley foothills. Just 2 blocks south of the apartment you'll find the north gate of campus, cafes, restaurants, market, and frozen yogurt. A 1/2 mile west will take you to the heart of the world renowned gourmet ghetto. Less than 1 mile away is Downtown Berkeley with theaters, restaurants, and shopping. Traveling Nurses and other medical staff will find Alta Bates Berkekey campus 2 miles away and the Alta Bates Oakland campus 5 miles away. We are 3 blocks away from major transit stops and bike shares. One compact parking space is included. Additional street parking is plentiful with a parking permit from the City of Berkeley.
